My name is Laura, I graduated in 2003 from the Applied Human Sciences at Concordia University with a B.A. in Human Relations, and I am currently enrolled in the MA in Educational Leadership program at McGill University. I have been working since my graduation as an educator for the Alzheimer Society of Montreal. My role is to provide education to professionals working on the field of dementia care. I write and give training sessions to professionals, volunteers and students. I also have a commitment in preventive education, support and counselling for multicultural minorities, being an immigrant myself; this is a project close to my heart.
