The Freire Project

Guatemalan woman with two grown up sons. Lived in the U.S. for 7 years in Maryland and taught Spanish. Moved to Canada 11 years ago with my two sons. Now I teach English in an elementary French school (École de Salaberry) in the South shore (at Chamblay).
My field of interest is languages specially as an impowering tool for minority language children.
This is the first time that I "blog", so as you can see; not a very media literate person, but very willing to try it.
I was very impressed with you all yesterday, I am sure that I can learn a lot from each one. Looking forward to knowing you all better!
