Stephen DeGiulio teaches adult education in a community college and directs a non-profit adult literacy program. His interests include indigenous knowledge systems—especially pedagogy—oral literature, and critical/postcolonial theory. He is presently a doctoral student at New Mexico State researching the arts as a medium for sustainable education and cultural healing.
